These 6 packs of bears are created for hospitals and birthing centers who feel the need to fill the empty arms of mothers who have lost their babies, before they leave the facility to return home.
As one of these mothers, I know that I would have greatly appreciated something to hold when I left the hospital. Giving a weighted teddy bear to a mother who has recently lost her child can bring comfort and some healing through the grieving process.
These Customized Bears are luxurious 16" classic, jointed teddy bears who were created as memory bears for a lost pregnancy, infant or young child. The pads of their feet are colored in ivory, rose pink, ocean waves, powder blue or ivory & gold damask. Each come with a light blue & light pink satin ribbon (the colors of infant loss awareness). Each bear has a soft fur coat and a carefully hand-sewn nose and will be weighted to 5 lb. Small plush, removable angel wings can be added during checkout.
Walter's Bears', were designed here in the USA by a mother who lost her son to Trisomy 18 and wanted to bring peace & happiness to others as part of her healing process. Each teddy bear comes with a gold heart-shaped rivet affixed to the upper right chest as a sign of authenticity and as a tribute to Baby Walter (her son). Every Teddy Bear is carefully examined and customized by her in Pennsylvania. The bears are then carefully boxed up and shipped out within 3-4 business days.
